Astma medicijn gevaarlijker dan gedacht

Een duur astma medicijn dat wereldwijd door 1,3 miljoen mensen wordt gebruikt blijkt méér gevaar op te leveren dan voordeel. Uit een tussentijdse studie is gebleken dat mensen die het medicijn gebruiken relatief méér astma-aanvallen hebben en vaker aan aan deze ziekte gerelateerde ziektes overlijden dan mensen die een placebo (nepmiddel) innamen.
